Kristina Mikulová is DPhil (PhD) Candidate in Politics at Nuffield College, Oxford University and Slovakia correspondent at The Economist. Kristina holds a MPhil in Russian and East European Studies from St Antony's College at Oxford University in Oxford, United Kingdom (2009) and a B.A. in political science and international relations from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic (2007). Her research interests include the dynamics of norm diffusion in a globalized world, the changing nature of the transatlantic order, the process of Europeanization in new member states and candidate countries and the EU's common foreign policy, especially vis-a-vis the Eastern neighbourhood. Kristina previously worked as a reporter at various media outlets, including The Financial Times's editorial office in Prague, Czech Republic (2006-2007) and The Moscow Times in Moscow, Russia (August-September 2009). She has been a visiting lecturer at Charles University in Prague (2010) and Comenius University in Bratislava (2011). Kristina regularly contributes briefs and policy papers on Central European politics to Oxford-based global analysis firm Oxford Analytica. She is also Associate Scholar at the Washington-based think tank Center for European Policy Analysis. |
